How to Find Us...
If arriving via Inverness, take the A835 northwards toward Ullapool. 12 miles before Ullapool there is a large T-Junction called Braemore Junction. Take this turn to your left and follow the A832 toward Dundonnell, Gairloch etc. After a few miles the road drops in height and you will see a sign marked 'Badrallach 8 & 1/2 miles' to your right. This is a single track road and a stunning drive that leads to a carpark. It is quite safe to leave your car here and follow the only footpath that leads into the Scoraig peninsula.
After a couple of miles you will come to a gate in the deer-fence. After this point there are habitations and crofts on either side of the track. Follow on and you will come to the lighthouse/visitor centre on your right. (This is not a working lighthouse perched on the edge of a cliff by the way!!). Turn right at the lighthouse and follow the Achmore track over the hill. You are now only a mile away from the Bothy!
Follow the rough Achmore track and take the right-hand side fork in it. Don't go to our only neighbours' house that has a large green roof. You will see our wind generator and trees ahead of you as you bear right and then our house and through trees and the garden finally by the shore the Bothy!
If driving up the west coast take the same route via Badrallach. Drive through, the various crofting townships and through Dundonnell along the shore of Little Loch Broom toward Braemore Junction. You will then see the Badrallach sign on your left hand-side.

For long stays, families, elderly etc. alternative travel options do exist. Please contact Anna for more information.
To reach us using public transport is very difficult, but possible, especially if willing to hitch or pay for a taxi from Ullapool to the footpath in order to walk in, and perhaps stay in a local hostel on the way.
